Involve Me

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me
and I learn.”   — Ben Franklin

image This quote spoke to me this morning.  I am going through some changes at work. A co-worker is leaving and I am not sure what she did because she never “involved me.” I hope to always remember this and as I teach someone, I will have them DO it.  It is so much better than to learn by making mistakes! Don’t you agree?

PS.  This is one of the arrangements I made at my flower store job… where I was involved!

Just being involved with life is a full time job. I hope you enjoy the new person at your work, it
will be much better for you now that the other person is leaving. You are involved in life, and
your job has taught you how to involve others lovingly and with patience. Something that
other person did not do for you. Funny how we learn by lack. Lynnie
