Be One With Your Bike!

Be at one with the universe. If you can’t do that, at least be at one with your bike.    —-Lennard Zinn

I moved to Denver one year ago. Shortly after settling into my condo, I bought a bike! I wanted to “get healthy” like all the people in Denver seem to be.  So you can imagine my surprise when I hopped on my bike ready to ride a couple miles and I had to curtail it after I was “huffing and puffing” after riding 2 blocks!!  Well, I DID have to adjust to the altitude after all!  Yesterday I got the bike out again.  My neighbor inflated the tires for me and I hopped on once again.  Can you imagine my DELIGHT, SURPRISE, PURE ENJOYMENT, when I was able to ride all over town?!!! I felt like a little kid… smiling at everyone!!I’m not sure if it was the correct pressure or if I have adjusted to the altitude, but I was ONE WITH THE BIKE!…. and THE UNIVERSE!!

This made me smile!!!! I could feel the energy of every word. What a great time you must have had. Something tells me you needed to only adjust the air in your tires. lol. What a great day that must have been. I can almost feel it. I would like to come over sometime and see if I can ride a bike. I have never tried it, and something tells me that maybe I could. What do you say??? That would be awesome for me. To say nothing of how great the exercise would be and just being outside in the sunshine. I can feel that vitamin D right now. LOL. I love you MO. I really mean what I say here, I really would like to try to ride. If I really can and if I get good, maybe we could ride around town together. What a giant step that would be for me!!!! Lynnie
